Registration is required for ANZ goMoney, ANZ Internet Banking and ANZ Phone Banking. Telephone, mobile operator and internet service provider charges may apply to these services. Eligibility criteria and terms and conditions apply.

  1. If you're 21 or over and applying for Jumpstart, you must be enrolled at and provide proof of full-time study at a government recognised tertiary institution or a NZQA approved language school, and must have a minimum of 6 months remaining on your course.
  2. Automated transactions include EFTPOS transactions, ATM transactions, mobile wallet transactions, direct debits and direct credits, and all electronic transactions made through ANZ Phone Banking, ANZ Internet Banking and ANZ goMoney.
  3. Manual transactions include cheques and transactions handled by our staff at a branch or by phone.
  4. Must be 13 years or over to apply for an ANZ Visa Debit MyPhoto card. Image criteria apply.
  5. Must be 18 years or over to apply for an overdraft. ANZ lending criteria, terms, conditions and fees apply to overdrafts, including monthly overdraft management fees. Student allowance/government loan and/or other income must be direct credited to an ANZ account. If approved, only one interest-free overdraft will be provided per eligible Jumpstart customer.

$50 Gift Card Offer Terms and Conditions

  1. Offer eligibility criteria:

    This offer is only available to new ANZ personal customers who:

    1. Have not held an ANZ transactional account including Freedom, Go, Jumpstart, Select, School Plus, Classic, Benefits, Premium or an Agri Personal Current account at any stage between 21 July 2017 and 21 January 2018 (inclusive); and
    2. Open an ANZ Jumpstart account1 online between 22 January 2018 and 1 March 2018 (inclusive); and
    3. Are 13 years or older and order an ANZ Visa Debit card; and
    4. Make five purchases (in stores, online or over the phone, excludes reversals and ATM withdrawals) using the ANZ Visa Debit card linked to this ANZ Jumpstart account before 31 March 2018; the ANZ Jumpstart account must be open at the time your unique Reward Code is sent.
  2. Offer terms:
    1. The offer is limited to one unique Reward Code per customer that can be redeemed for a Digital gift card valued at NZ$50.
    2. Subject to meeting the eligibility criteria, a unique Reward Code will be emailed to your email address registered to the new ANZ Jumpstart account within 10 days of becoming eligible for the Digital gift card.
